At Battlement Mesa Metropolitan District, our goal is to provide safe, clean, sparkling water to all of our residents!
The Battlement Mesa community is located in western Garfield County and has a population of approximately 5,200 residents, making it the 2nd largest community in western Garfield County. It is an unincorporated community which receives its services by several overlapping special districts, Garfield County, and several homeowner associations.
Water and Sewer facilities are owned and maintained by the BMMD with the only funding source coming from water and sewer fees. The BMMD provides water service to all of Battlement Mesa’s residents and has been able to provide that service at a rate lower than most other communities in Garfield County.
